What happens when I hit the Free tier limits?

At 150 entries you'll see an upgrade prompt, but we give you a 10-entry grace period (up to 160 total) so you're never cut off mid-session. After 160, existing entries remain fully accessible — you just can't create new ones. Your data is never locked, deleted, or held hostage.

Is this really a lifetime license?

Yes. One payment of $59 gets you Pro access forever — unlimited entries, unlimited AI, all future updates. No subscriptions, no renewals, no price increases. Your license stays active as long as WorldKonstruct exists.

Why are you using multiple AI models?

All included-credit AI requests go directly to Google's Gemini API (paid commercial tier — no model training on API data). Gemini Flash 2.5 handles document scanning, entity extraction, validation, AI Enhance, Enrich All, and Dramatica Analysis. AI Name Suggestions use a lightweight local method and never call an external API. BYOK users can optionally route supported AI features through their own Gemini, Anthropic, or OpenRouter account.

What is "Wholesale AI Pricing" (BYOK)?

Bring Your Own Key. Pro users can plug in their own Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenRouter API key in Settings for supported AI features if they prefer direct provider billing or a specific provider. You pay the provider directly at their rates. Your key is stored in your Google Account's PropertiesService (managed by Google, tied to your account) and never stored on our servers. WorldKonstruct detects the key type automatically and routes requests to the right provider.

Where is my data stored?

Your story bible entries live in a Google Sheet on your Google Drive — you own it completely. Browser caching (IndexedDB) provides instant sidebar loading. Avatar images stay wherever you found them (Google Images, Imgur, Pinterest, etc.) — we just store the URL. We use Supabase for license verification and anonymous usage analytics only — zero user content is ever stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. After that period, your Pro access stays active permanently — there's nothing to cancel, because there's no subscription.

Can I use Pro on multiple Google accounts?

Your license is tied to the Google account email you used at checkout. If you need to transfer it to a different account, contact support and we'll sort it out.

I just bought Pro — how do I activate?

Your license activates automatically within about 30 seconds. The sidebar polls for your license after purchase. If it doesn't activate, click the entry count badge in the sidebar header and select "Refresh License." Make sure you're logged into the same Google account email you used at checkout.

Do you offer team pricing?

Not currently. WorldKonstruct is built for individual writers and small collaborations (you can share your Google Sheet bible with co-authors). If you need something for a larger team, get in touch and we'll figure it out.
